Who we are
The Lion's Den is operated by Kris Cook Executive Coaching, LLC, doing business as The Lion's Den ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through thelionsden.io, our events pages, our forms, and our text message program, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile phone number, company name, and anything you write in a form or message to us.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to receive text messages, the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page where you agreed.
- Purchase and membership information: event registrations, invoices, and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
- Basic technical information: standard information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
How we use your information
- To respond to your requests and questions.
- To manage your community membership, event registrations, and invoices.
- To send emails and, if you opted in, text messages about events, community updates, reminders, and offers.
- To keep records of your consent and opt-out choices.
- To run, secure, and improve our website and services.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we send text messages to the mobile number you give us. You can opt in to marketing texts, to account and event texts, to both, or to neither. Opting in is never required to buy from us or join the community.

- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as our CRM, email and text message providers, community platform, and payment processors. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety needs, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- A business transfer, if our business is sold or merged, subject to this policy.
These sharing categories do not include text message opt-in data or consent, which we never share as described above.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Emails: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention and security
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Consent and opt-out records are kept to prove compliance. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Third-party sites
Our community runs on Skool. When you follow a link to Skool or another site, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Children
Our services are for business owners and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
